Hi girls. Hope you are having as pain free a day as possible. I'm here to moan again I'm afraid. I've had a really bad cold and lost my voice over the last few days but now on top of this the endo has flared up again. Joy. I feel like if it's not one thing with me it's another.
To add even more stress to the situation I have just started a course of provera to bring on a bleed so I can start taking clomid. I'm really stressed about all this because I've heard that Clomid can exacerbate endo pain which I am really worried about as it can be hard enough to deal with without adding to it and also because it will mean taking even MORE time off work than I am already to accommodate all of the tests and scans that I will need every week to check if I'm ovulating. not to mention the scheduled sex!
I'm so overwhelmed by everything just now & feel so emotional about it. Add to the mix I feel so guilty about feeling this way because I have a loving & supportive husband and family & great friends to help me through but I still feel so lost & scared about it all. Sorry to bitch girls, I'm just sitting at home on my own with all of this going round my head and I had to do something to get it out.

Hi Tink80, that is the comforting thing about this site is to know that we are not just lazy, over emotional or in need of psychiatric help! To read other people's stories that mirror our own is strangely helpful. I too have a very supportive and loving husband who when people ask me how i am, forces me to tell them rather than saying "im fine" or "not too bad" even if ive been in bed for the day unable to move! I often feel bored with myself 'what's wrong with me now' as it does seem one thing after the other and if endo symptoms are a good day then I too may have a cold. I'm a long way from your situation as I'm 50 now, not suffered as much as some people but although only recently diagnosed after over a year of being almost housebound and off work, I realise now a lot of my symptoms over the years that were put down to just heavy periods was endo which has now built up. I'm about to start the endo diet, look at endo resolved website, I've ordered the recipe book from amazon that they mention, it's worth a try.
That sounds a bit lame with what you're going thru I know, and I hope the medication you're starting is ok for you. Have you tried a tenns machine, that can be quite comforting, I try not to take too many pain killers as basically they don't seem to touch it anyway.
