Period style pain after a lap?

May be a stupid question but I had a lap last weds and have been recovering well but this afternoon I've had distinct lower period pains in my pelvis and lower back? Is this the norm it's my first lap so a little unsure? Also they couldn't remove all the endo so am aware it may not have stopped the pain completely

Thanks xx

from my past and recent experience (my 3rd op was 6 weeks ago) some low pelvic pain is/has been part of the recovery from where they have been working inside !

I think it can take a little while for things to settle down.

Take care

Hi. I had pelvic pain return about a week after my lap also. I put it down to irritation and inflamation from the laser treatment. I was worried aswell as it was never mentioned as part of the recovery. It started to go after another few weeks but now it's back after I started exercising which I think is from nerve damage where the endo was as its now a sharper pain rather than the usual prasure/achy pain. Hope this helps and you feel better soon xx

I had my first lap on Friday and have been having period style pains in my lower back. I am presuming it is normal. Keep taking the paracetamol and keep propped up with lots of pillows. X
