I'm Paul and I've been on healthunclocked since November 2018 just after my partner passed away from terminal cancer. I had decided I needed to do something since I was around 17st and on 45 units of insulin twice a day. I started off by walking to work about 4 miles and eating sensibly. My diabetic nurse was excellent and I had started to loose weight. My insulin was being reduced. Last October, I was taken off insulin and still off. My daughter got me a cheap Fitbit and I have done over 10,000 steps per day for over 12 months. I've reduced my weight to 10 st and enjoying life so much.
