Interesting Week: DEXCOM

Good evening/morning/afternoon. This is the update for the last week with the old sensor.

Since Thursday afternoon, the numbers kept having hiccups with going and working here and there. Last night was no exception. When I was ready for bed, the numbers disappeared for a while and then came back when I was asleep.

Before I switched sensors this afternoon, the numbers were in and out, again. Not good, but the new sensor is doing okay so far. We’ll have to see what happens before next Friday afternoon.😀👍

Hi Leah, it all seems a bit hit or miss with these sensors and I'm surprised they can't make them more reliable and so they last longer. At least it hasn't alarmed in the night, so good luck with the new sensor. 😊

Thank you! They’re handmade. Each sensor is supposed to work each week, but sometimes it’s not good.

It depends on the box. Some boxes are good all week.

Some just isn’t good enough... but you know my view on these crummy devices already - for which I apologise for being so outspoken.

Can you imagine if we made our plane engines and said some will work, others may fail - frequently!

I understand completely what you mean. It’s hard sometimes, but it’s a toss up.😀

You’re okay. No worries about anything being‘outspoken’.
