Another Good Week! :-)

This week went really well, again. The only time there was an issue was two times. :-) Actually, an interesting thing happened when I went to a dance recently. I had Thai food for dinner before heading to the dance that night and I still needed to have cranberry juice to keep the numbers from continuing to go down. At the time, the arrows were double straight down! I couldn't believe it since this is the exact same meal I had for most of the other meals I've eaten for nights of dances. When this happens, the numbers usually go too high (over 400 mg/dl). Not sure how it was dropping, but I was fine afterwards. I guess, it was the waking/sleeping method.

Along with the old sensor from last week, the numbers kept going into the lower end of the 100s. I'm surprised about this because I sometimes would go to sleep at night with numbers near upper 200s-low 300s. You would think if a person didn't eat a lot before bedtime for a snack, the number would be okay (the number was in the 300s) and I didn't have a yogurt with my bar at bedtime once so it was in the upper 90s by the time I woke up the next day! Not too sure how to explain that one.

The new sensor was put in today before leaving the house for work this morning. The numbers have been nice and stable so far with it. No issues so far. :-)

Well lets hope this one behaves itself, it's obviously doing it's job but must be worrying when the numbers drop and the cranberry juice is perfect for you when dancing. 😊

I had some cranberry juice and a couple of eggs with a protein based drink today for breakfast since I was running lower this morning first thing.

Yes, cranberry juice does help. Good thing I’m not allergic!😀👍

Eggs don't move your BG levels (well they do but not instantly like sugar!!!) , so maybe the protein based drink had added sugar and the cranberry juice is sweet so that is what helped you.
