Hi, I am new to having type 2 Diabetes, I have recently been on Sitagliptin I was on that for 3 months. I have recently been put on Dapagliflozin, hoping this will help. I have other auto immune illnesses too, which came before this one and finding out that they can cause Diabetes. Unsure what else is round the corner, my other 2 auto immune illnesses are Hypothyroidism (20 years) and Rheumatoid Arthritis (3 years).

So sorry to hear that. But medication won't help you as t2d.Idm. Lchf keto range diet would not only take you off the medications, but also get relief from autoimmune problems esp rh arthritis. Try it.

Good luck.

Carnivorous. Carbs less than 20-50 g per day with protein 1-1.5g/ kg body weight and 70-80% of the energy requirements coming from good fats.
