What a very hectic day dealing with the DEXCOM and the sensor from Monday, April 23rd. It was working fairly well for the last few days and part of this morning until around 10:30 am when I was at work.....
Qué día tan muy agitado tratando con el DEXCOM y el sensor a partir del lunes, 23 de abril. Trabajaba justamente bien durante los últimos días y parte de esta mañana a eso de las 10:30 cuando estuve en el trabajo.....
At 5:15 am today, the DEXCOM alarmed, but I didn't hear it. My parents came to my room and had to wake me up since the number on the DEXCOM said I was under 80 mg/dl. The thing about that is, I didn't feel low-- just hungry. In some odd way, that was a good thing since I had to have a Greek yogurt and a whole bottle of Cranberry Juice to get the numbers a little higher before I could try to get some more sleep.
A las 5:15 hoy, el DEXCOM alarmó, pero no lo oí. Mis padres vinieron a mi cuarto y me tuvieron que despertar ya que el número en el DEXCOM dijo que estaba bajo 80 mg/dl. La cosa de es decir no me sentí bajo - sólo hambriento. De algún modo raro, que era una cosa buena ya que tuve que tener un yogur griego y una botella entera de Zumo del Arándano para conseguir los números un poco más alto antes de que pudiera tratar de conseguir algún sueño más.
Before heading to work for the day and leaving the house, I noticed that the numbers were dropping, again around 8:30 am. So, I decided to do a test and then have another Greek yogurt before heading to the car. I got in touch with a coworker and told her what has been going on since our Director wasn't around at the time to answer the phone (she was setting up for a Fashion Show that was for most of the day).
Antes de dirigirme para trabajar para el día y dejar la casa, noté que los números se caían, otra vez a eso de las 8:30. De este modo, decidí hacer una prueba y luego tener otro yogur griego antes de dirigirme al coche. Me puse en contacto con un compañero de trabajo y le dije lo que ha estado continuando ya que nuestro Director no estaba alrededor entonces para contestar al teléfono (establecía para un Desfile de modas que era durante la mayor parte del día).
While at the center, I looked at the receiver and got a not so nice surprise. I saw that the hour glass and questionmarks were showing up. This wasn't a good thing at all and got me really stressed out. I also got stressed when I saw that I had been alerted of the sensor failed at 10:40 am. But, like my coworker had said, "it's better to have the entire group working today instead of having a failed sensor happen on Friday". She's right, but it didn't help with all the testing and food that had to be eaten all day (and more even while I'm typing this right now). The only benefit of testing when I did was, it turned out that I did need all the snacks this morning and then lunch and a glass of regular iced tea during the Fashion Show and some bars. I'm not sure how the numbers can be so low for most of the day even after having a full glass of regular ice tea, but it stayed low.
Mientras en el centro, miré el receptor y me puse un no tan sorpresa agradable. Vi que el cristal de la hora y los signos de interrogación se revelaban. Esto no era una cosa buena en absoluto y me acentuó realmente. También me acentué cuando vi que me había alertado del sensor fallado a las 10:40. Pero, como mi compañero de trabajo había dicho, «es mejor tener el grupo entero que trabaja hoy en vez de tener un sensor fracasado pasan el viernes». Tiene razón, pero no ayudó con todas las pruebas y comida que se tuvo que comer todo el día (y más plano mientras escribo a máquina esto ahora mismo). La única ventaja de pruebas cuando hice era, resultó que realmente necesité todos los bocados esta mañana y luego almorcé y un vaso del té helado regular durante el Desfile de modas y algunas barras. No estoy seguro cómo los números pueden ser tan bajos durante la mayor parte del día hasta después de tener un vaso lleno del té del hielo regular, pero se quedó bajo.
Speaking of lows, I had to have Cranberry Juice and another Greek yogurt a little while ago this evening after a big dinner. If this posting stops in an odd way, then that means I had to go and get more testing and snacks before my 9:30 pm bedtime snack is suppose to be done. Hopefully, that won't have to be done.
Hablando de mugidos, tuve que tener el Zumo del Arándano y otro yogur griego hace un rato esta tarde después de una comida grande. Si esta fijación que las paradas de un modo raro, entonces esto significa que tuve que ir y conseguir más pruebas y bocados antes de mi bocado de la hora de acostarse de 21:30 son supone para hacerse. Esperamos que esto no se tendrá que hacer.
Speaking of snacks, I had a snack at my brother's house this afternoon while I was babysitting my Nephew and Neice before heading home for the day. Another Greek yogurt. I've had about 4 or 5 yogurts just today.
Hablando de bocados, comí algo ligero en la casa de mi hermano esta tarde mientras era el cuidado de los niños mi Nephew y Neice antes de volver a casa para el día. Otro yogur griego. He tenido aproximadamente 4 o 5 yogures sólo hoy.
