Here's a very quick update to let you know how things went with the DEXCOM and sensor from last week.

For those who know some of the information already, this won't be a big surprise-- except for the way things got handled afterwards.....

To start off with, I had removed the sensor from last Friday this morning before heading to my job at the Senior Center. That was okay. What wasn't okay was that I had to call DEXCOM recently this week and ask a few questions dealing with the calibrations. Apparently, the receiver and sensor that had been removed had been confused and wanted to have me do multiple calibrations in a 30-minute time span. This isn't normally done, so that even made me want to call them even more-- at my job. I'm so glad I have a fantastic and understanding boss who is willing to let me deal with this mess even after my lunch break ended.
Para comenzar con, había quitado el sensor a partir del viernes pasado esta mañana antes de dirigirme a mi trabajo en el Centro Mayor. Esto era bien. Lo que no era bien era que tuve que llamar DEXCOM recientemente esta semana y hacer unas preguntas que tratan con las calibraciones. Por lo visto, el receptor y el sensor que se había quitado se habían confundido y se habían querido para hacerme hacer calibraciones múltiples en un período de 30 minutos. Esto normalmente no se hace, de modo que hasta hecho mí querer llamarlos aún más - en mi trabajo. Me alegro tanto de que tengo un jefe fantástico y comprensivo que quiere dejarme tratar con este lío hasta después de que mi ruptura del almuerzo terminó.
With the old sensor, there were some glitches here and there. I had no numbers being reported on and off, but it wasn't as bad as last time. This time, the missing data lasted about 15-30 minutes each time. No problem. Just didn't like that this was happening before having to get ready for bed!
Con el viejo sensor, había algunos problemas técnicos aquí y allí. No tenía números informados y lejos, pero no era tan malo como la vez pasada. Esta vez, los datos ausentes duraron aproximadamente 15-30 minutos cada vez. Ningún problema. ¡Sólo no gustó esto esto pasaba antes de necesidad tener de prepararse para la cama!
For the new sensor, it is working pretty good so far. No issues that I can tell. We will just have to wait and see what happens in the next few days.
