Monday afternoon, I had changed the sensor for a new one after work. I had to change the sensor at the dentist office since it was the time for the alarm to warn me that it was time.
El lunes por la tarde, había cambiado el sensor para nuevo uno después del trabajo. Tuve que cambiar el sensor en la oficina del dentista ya que era el tiempo para la alarma para advertirme que era el tiempo.
While the 2 hour warm up period had been going on, I ended up getting a haircut and then headed home for the evening. By the time I had gotten home, I had dinner and then did the 2 calibrations for the new sensor to start working the correct way. So far, so good. Things seem to be going well, but I won't hold my breath because things can go wrong here and there. The best thing is, I never give up!
Mientras los de 2 horas calientan el período había estado continuando, terminé por conseguir un corte de pelo y luego vuelto a casa para la tarde. Cuando había llegado a casa, cené y luego hice las 2 calibraciones para el nuevo sensor para comenzar a trabajar el camino correcto. Hasta ahora, bien. Parece que las cosas van bien, pero no sostendré mi aliento porque las cosas se pueden equivocar aquí y allí. ¡La mejor cosa es, nunca me rindo!
Today at the center, we had a holiday celebration/breakfast for the Seniors (and anyone else that wanted to participate). I had an early lunch of eggs, popcorn and sausage with a Halo orange. It actually kept my blood sugars at a reasonable level for most of the day and it was a lot different than what my normal "lunch" usually happens to be when at work. I saw the numbers go down on the DEXCOM-- which was a good thing because it started out in the upper 300's before I had decided to get something for myself. Afterwards, the numbers were in the mid-200's on the DEXCOM. Not too bad if you ask me!
Hoy en el centro, teníamos una celebración/desayuno de vacaciones para los Mayores (y alguien más que quisiera participar). Tenía un almuerzo temprano de huevos, palomitas de maíz y salchicha con un Halo naranja. Realmente guardó mis azúcares en la sangre a un nivel razonable durante la mayor parte del día y era muy diferente que lo que mi «almuerzo» normal por lo general resulta ser cuando en el trabajo. Vi los números disminuir en el DEXCOM - que era una cosa buena porque comenzó en el superior 300's antes de que hubiera decidido conseguir algo para mí. Después, los números eran al mediados del 200 en el DEXCOM. ¡No demasiado mal si me pregunta!
The Staff party was suppose to be today, but has been postponed to January 4, 2017. Some of the Staff is either out sick or never came in today because of unknown reasons. Will see how the DEXCOM works when that day comes and will let you know. I can't wait to see what happens!
