New Sensor Tonight: DEXCOM (Nuevo sensor esta noche: DEXCOM)

While I'm sitting here and waiting for the new sensor to be calibrated after the 2 hour warm up period ( I just put the new one in a little while ago), I thought I'd start typing and let you know what had happened today with the one I had removed.

When I had gotten to the Senior Center today, I went upstairs where I'm most of the time and noticed that the sticky part of the cover for the sensor's top that sticks to the skin was coming away from the skin a little, but not enough to get completely off the body. This is very interesting since I didn't have any issues today with "No Data". With the unsticking, you would think there would be problems. None!

Nada!

I went to a Farmer's Market and the sticky part was still keeping itself together and not coming off-- still. I'm hoping this new one can handle the change of temperature that we are going to be having very soon starting Saturday into Sunday. Will let you know how it turns out.

More to come soon. Keep on reading!

Más venir pronto. ¡Siga leyendo!

I would add some demo-plastic remove like the DEXCOM tape to hold the senor tape you have in place from the - DECXOM sensor.

What's demo plastic? How much does it cost and is it going to bother the skin? Some tapes I've used for the DEXCOM bothered the skin and I had to find something else to use.
