This afternoon, when I got home, I saw the box for my new, free sensor from DEXCOM. It was sitting up against the bottom part of the door to my house. I'm not sure how long it had been sitting there, but it looked okay when I opened the box and checked to see if it had any issues. To me, the only issue that I could tell that anything was messed with was the FedEx outer box and that it looked crushed. Good thing, though the box for the sensor and the sensor itself had nothing wrong with it.

When I had called DEXCOM recently to say that I needed a new free sensor, they had to send it "over night", but it went out yesterday since the sensors can't be shipped on weekend days over night. They usually send them over night during the week.

Earlier today, during the workday, a woman I know very well asked me about the DEXCOM and how it actually works. I showed her what I could from the system and explained to her that a person who uses the DEXCOM needs to use an IPhone cellphone because that works better with the user. If you have followers, they can use an Android phone and see the results of your blood sugars that way (you can have up to 5 followers). She was very impressed!
Antes hoy, durante el día laborable, una mujer que conozco muy bien me preguntó sobre el DEXCOM y cómo realmente trabaja. Le mostré lo que podría del sistema y le expliqué que una persona que usa el DEXCOM tiene que usar un teléfono celular del IPhone porque esto trabaja mejor con el usuario. Si tiene seguidores, pueden usar un Androide telefonean y ven los resultados de sus azúcares en la sangre así (puede tener hasta 5 seguidores). ¡Muy se impresionó!
