Well, I installed the newest sensor for the DEXCOM on Wednesday this week. So far, it only lost me once after getting done with the restroom the day after. Pretty good. It turns out, since I've had the DEXCOM system for 6 months, I will have to change the transmitter on Monday, January 11, 2016. This is because the transmitters only last for 6 months at a time. The new one is waiting for me in its packaging box and will be used that day. Hopefully, that one will work as well as this one.
Bien, instalé el sensor más nuevo para el DEXCOM el miércoles esta semana. Hasta ahora, sólo me perdió una vez haciéndose con los servicios el día después. Bastante bien. Resulta, ya que he tenido el sistema DEXCOM durante 6 meses, tendré que cambiar el transmisor el lunes, 11 de enero de 2016. Esto es porque los transmisores sólo duran durante 6 meses a la vez. El nuevo me espera en su caja de embalaje y se usará ese día. Esperamos que ese trabajará así como éste.
I went on a mini vacation recently and brought two sensors just to be on the safe side. One was a back up for the one that may (or may not) work afterwards. Lucky me, I never had to use either of them until getting home Wednesday afternoon (closer to when the sensor was going to be changed, anyway).
Fui durante unas vacaciones mini recientemente y traje dos sensores sólo para estar en el lado seguro. Uno se levantó una espalda para la que que puede (o puede no) el trabajo después. Afortunado mí, nunca tuve que usar a ninguno de ellos hasta la llegada a casa el miércoles por la tarde (más cerca a cuando el sensor iba a cambiarse, de todos modos).
