My skin is so red, burning and sore, i'm in a vicious circle of scratching because it burns and burns because i scratch (subconsciously )
I've used * sudocream which works but gets everywhere, *
Doublebase
Diomed Flare Relief Emollient - makes my skin burn and worse * various other skin care products It's ruining my life, my confidence and my relationship. I can't get through to doctors.

GVHD and skin dryness.
I have used quite a few emoluments prescribed by my consultant like diprobase and use dermo 500 and currently using
doublebase
cream for the dryness. I will be seeing my consultant next week and wonder if anyone similar to me may have any comments or solutions. Many thanks Michael

Soap substitutes for hand washing
I was prescribed
Doublebase
in a pump dispenser 500g which I kept at the sink and it didn’t really irritate my hands so I used it when hand washing. I haven’t had this prescribed for ages though for some reason and they keep giving me dermol shower emollient and also

Should emollients make your eczema worse before better? How long to persevere with new emollient?
Ive tried so many, which I give up quickly because they don't improve the skin, now trying
doublebase
flare relief, it makes my eczema redder. have been using a week. should I continue?

Doublebase gel for facial eczema- replacement?
For seven or eight years I have been using
doublebase
gel as a moisturiser on my face, following a flareup of atopic facial eczema. However, it now seems to be unavailable in the UK (except on eBay!)

Psoriasis and heart meds.
I have shown it to my g.p. but I get
doublebase
cream which makes it look so red and sore. I'm sure it's related to heart meds and as things are I am more concerned about my heart but it would be wonderful to get some relief from the itching . Any ideas welcome.

They’ve left me with really dry peeling and unsightly skin though - I’ve tried
doublebase
before along with various other thick creams etc with no joy. I have some borage cream that I’ve picked up while I’m away which has helped quite a bit with moisturising it. Anyone else have any other tips?

Emollients - Epimax instead of Diprobase
Isomol gel is listed as an alternative to
Doublebase
gel and Zerodouble gel. The Fifty:50 I got isn't listed, but the British National Formulary has "Liquid and White Soft Paraffin Ointment, NPF", which is the same stuff (50% liquid paraffin, 50% white soft paraffin), at £4.57 for 500 g.

Help needed with treatment.
I've been using
Doublebase
a prescribed by my GP some time ago, but it's not working. My GP is no longer available and I have no confidence in the other doctors. I would like, if I have to see a doctor, to be able to request a suitable remedy.

Having been through a lot of the prescribed ones like
doublebase
