No matter what i do, eat less, do more exercise (i am a marathon runner), regular consultation with the endocrinologist, i am not able to understand and solve this. Can someone, who has successfully worked through this, guide me with some pointers as how should i resolve this.

Tell us your age, weight, height, work culture and your nature regarding managing stress levels, if you do not mind .There maybe some clues.

Have you ever tested your C-peptide test ??????? Or say fasting insulin ?????

How much is the value ????

Also you may please respond to Ramana42's query regarding little bit of back ground of your case !

Then perhaps ,we can give some suggestions !

"Adopt the Mediterranean diet."(1)

"Here are six ways to lower your A1C:

(1) Make a plan. Take stock of your goals and challenges. ...

(2) Create a diabetes management plan. If you have diabetes, create a diabetes management plan with your doctor. ...

(3) Track what you eat. ...

(4) Eat a healthy diet. ...

(5) Set a weight loss goal. ...

Research has also shown that people with type 2 diabetes who reduce their HbA1c level by 1% are:

* 19% less likely to suffer cataracts.

* 16% less likely to suffer heart failure.

* 43% less likely to suffer amputation or death due to peripheral vascular disease.

Change your time of medicine.

I have early dinner. Atleat 3 hours before sleeping. I take my night dose late night just before sleeping so that I do not start with a high sugar level in the morning. I eat 2 biscuits with tea immediately after I wake up within 20 mins.

I too had the same problem but my sugar is low after I started following this... I also stopped my morning dose of medicine, because it's fine without that.

I eat normal Indian diet. Not many changes in diet.

Hope it helps you.

Cool down, Don't overdo anything if you find it does not help then see the result. But yours appears to be New Normal try to live with it. Try to keep it as low as it is possible humanly. Above all, stop worrying, Try to know your own balance between Diet and exercise. Be your own master take help from anyone you are comfortable. As you know Diabetics is not treatable fully. You are to live with it. To the best of avenues available. So, please live with it wisely. -----An oldman suggests from his experience.
