I am 66 yrs old and diabetic from 2yrs. my sugar level first 130 mg PP 180 to 200. I didn't take any medicine .I am fit & still in service.But I am worried about dangerous harms from diabetics. Pl suggest should I take Liv 52+Flax seed+vitamin c+vitamin B12 to cope with this evil ?

I do take vitamin C 1000 a day at least. Sometimes more. Taking it 500 mg at a time is what the body can process. C is water soluble and the body simply discards what it doesn't use. D3, Omega 3s and Beta carotene are a few other basics I would look into as well.
Have your reports done as everyone has said. Instead of medicines, go for a walk, change your food habits and quality of food you eat; you might not need anything else. Vit tablets are after all not good at all. I am reducing my dosage and would like to leave medicines. Once in a trap of medicines you will always be in the trap. So judge well before you start medicines.
Fasting blood sugar (FBS) must be less than 100 mg/dL and post-prandial blood sugar (PPBS) (2 hours after consuming food) should be less than 140 mg/dL. Your blood sugar level is above normal.
You should undergo various tests once in 6 months or once in a year.
A: HbA1c. HbA1c is a lab test that shows the average level of blood sugar (glucose) over the previous 3 months. It shows
how well you are controlling your diabetes.
B: Control your high Blood pressure, if any. Normal blood pressure- <120/80 mmHg.
C: Control your blood Cholesterol: Normal cholesterol < 200 mg/dL. LDL <100 mg/dL HDL > 40 mg/dL Triglyceride < 150 mg/dL.
D: Diabetic education.Dental check-up should be done in every 6 months.
E: Eye examination for glaucoma, age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy and cataract.
F: Foot examination
G: Glucose monitoring. Fasting or postprandial blood sugar may be checked daily and avoid foods that elevates blood sugar.
H: Health maintenance immunization against influenza and pneumococcal pneumonia.
I: Indications for specialty care. Heart, kidney, eye should be checked periodically by concerned specialists.

* Adults with diabetes have heart disease death rates about 2 to 4 times higher than adults without diabetes.
* The risk for stroke is 2 to 4 times higher among people with diabetes.
