With this result you should consult your doc. because PPBS i.e. after meal should be around 130. Your blood sugar is higher.
Sometimes, there are two types of carb.. Good and bad. Simple & complex. Which one are you taking? You should track.
But i think you should start medicine and control the blood sugar.
i am taking pranthas in morning , roti in lunch and again roti in dinner
with sabzi or dal
what are complex and simple carb... ?
also i am having diabetes , i just want to ask weather this diet is safe in longer run or not ? and sugar level is in okey level or not .
Wheat bran ata with wheat flour is complex carb. But in paratha u add potato than potato is most simple carb.
Dal is also complex carb but also pay attention that overall the carb count shud not be exceed by 50 to 60gm per serving.
If u eat simple tuver dal than eat mix dal. Like tuver dal+mung dal+urad dal+chana dal+any dal.
which one is better?
Complex carb is better. Reason is, the food with simple carb convert in to sugar within no time so yr sugar level will increas. Complex carb convert in to sugar within 2-3 hr. so in between u do yr work or exercise so as carb convert in to sugar, the sugar will consume and thus sugar will not increase. For example white rice, potatoes r simple carb. As u eat rice or potatoes yr sugar level will spike.

It seems that your diet contains high carbs. Try to reduce carbs and increase good fats in your diet. Take enough proteins.
yes. but i take only veg food
i am having diabetes , i want to ask weather it safe or not in longer run, plus i not taking any medicine.
suggest weather this sugar level is okey in diabetic condition

High ppbs is not good in long run.
The management of D / bs is of utmost importance. But the patient is treated as a whole and not just the disease. The medical advice is not the same for everyone. One needs to know the height, weight, age, life style and D status. The control of bs is done with following.
1) diet, diet and diet is the most important.
2) exercise
3) drugs.
You are taking lots of carbs. You have to learn carb counting and gi and gl. Not very difficult. Surf the net, get in touch with the forum. I'm myself on lchf diet and found it very useful.
Test ur HBA1C.....Then u can consult
You definitely should consult a physician. Independently of your diet, the pancreas should secret enough insulin pretty much right away when you digest carbs, thus the diet doesn't matter for that. The only exception is fructose which doesn't cause any insulin secretion and gets digested by the cells without it.

LCHF is CERTAINLY NOT safe in the long run. Check the last reply i made in the LCHF post:
- fat + proteins make the pancreas work a lot harder making it likelier that you get pancreatis
- carbs also bring other elements to the body that you will miss in the low carb diet thus LCHF does not provide a healthy diet.

"fat + proteins make the pancreas work a lot harder making it likelier that you get pancreatis"
What makes you think or is there any scientific proof that good fats increase pancreatic work load and causes pancreatitis ?
Also what makes you declare that "LCHF is CERTAINLY NOT safe in the long run." ? Please don't give verdict. Instead you can say that you don't agree with the lchf concept or justify your statement and provide alternative diet.

"carbs also bring other elements to the body that you will miss in the low carb diet thus LCHF does not provide a healthy diet." You may be partly right but control of D is of utmost importance. The elements can be replaced with drugs. But the control of D is not possible with high carb diet. Even rigorous exercise can't bring good control of D if on high carb diet.

In t2d there is more than enough insulin but high IR. So diet matters a lot sir.
Go for LCHF!

it is definitely abnormal and reduce youe diet. Do walking for half an hour and also you can do some exercise.
Stenal3642,
are you not taking any medicine out of choice or because you are not followed by a medical specialist which could and would prescribe you meds?
Have you been diagnosed as diabetic and if so, type 1 or type 2?
Had to make a separate post about it because replies don't support images - have a look at healthunlocked.com/diabetes... for non-diabetic person - the ideal case you should try to reproduce be it by oral tablet, insulin injection or any other mean to control your blood glucose.
Trying to influence insulin resistance through diet is like trying to sail against the wind - it's possible but it's a lot easier with the wind. If you really have to go against the wind, that is lose weight to reduce insulin resistance
-1- exercise physically. If you are having difficulties exercising ask for the advice of a physiotherapist which will show you exercises you can safely do to start with.
-2- eat a healthy diet, avoid snacks, junk food as well as refined carbs and use foods high in fiber instead, limit protein intake to 1g per kg of weight per day, favouring healthy fats:
-2-- Avocados.
-2-- Butter. ...
-2-- Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Nota bene olive oil should not be used to cook as it will lose its beneficial elements at higher heat. Use
-2-- Coconut Oil for cooking instead.
-2-- Omega-3s.
Even without losing a lot of weight (initially) the exercise will improve your metabolism and reduce insulin resistance.
thanks my friend. can join gym ?
If you are feeling that you will "enjoy" it, yes definitely! Depending on how much exercise you had until now you may want to talk to the person organizing the gym lessons and make sure you get into a class with exercises which are adapted to your current condition.
