You are low on vitamin D and B12. You need supplements for both.

I am taking methycobol tablet 0.5 mg daily for Vitamin B12. &

VIDROP (VITAMIN - D3) ORAL DROPS 15 ML ... (each drop contains 100 IU of vitamin D3). I take 15 ml once a week.

Is this fine

If you are on metformin then oral B12 capsules are ineffective as metformin hinders the absorption of B12. At your B12 levels better to take 1500 mcg.

What is weekly intake of D3 in IU ?

Dear Shrisamarath,

I don't take any Blood Sugar control medicine. Can go for B12 injection once a week...?

I take these Vitamin D Drops, available in Dubai. This is what written on the bottle.

VIDROP Oral Drops 15 ml.

Each 1 ml (= 28 drops) of oral solution contains: Vitamin D3 (Cholecalciferol) 2800 I.U.,

(each drop contains 100 IU of vitamin D3).

Sublingual form of B12 is equally effective as injections.

D3 supplement looks sufficient.

Anup ji, how do you infer insulin resistance from BS numbers and lipid profile? Just curious.

TG/HDL ratio is bound to be low when a diabetic is on LCHF diet. But does it mean improved insulin sensitivity?
