Dear sir,

I am a 53 years person having Type 2 diabetic. I am on medicine of gluconom G2 (one before break fast) and vazuca .3 (twice after meal & dinner) .

I am use to take drinks 2 to three units on week end . though I am physically fit as I use to walk one hr comfortably or run on tread mill for 20 mins.

my query to all members , how alcohol effects BS for diabetic patients & does it possible to control it without abstaining alcohol .

I have stared recently LCHF food and feeling good( no drowsiness after meal )

Drinks Only in limited quantity to be consumed and not more than 2 units at a time

Avoid heavy eating with drinks and if possible take after dinner.
