Dear friends,

You have seen my earlier posts. After 3 months LCHF, I managed to make remarkable improvement in HBA1C and LIPDS. My over all goal is to improve it further in this next 3 months but also with reducing or eliminating medicines.

Repeating some information here so that you dont have to go back to my earlier post.

Results are as under. 3 Months back values are in bracket.

HBA1C = 6.9 ( 11.2)

CHOLESTROL TOTAL = 196 ( 210)

TRIGLYCERIDE = 112 ( 211)

HDL= 43 (40)

LDL= 134 ( 153)

MICROALBUMIN= 2.3 ( 55).

. TSH = 3.86 and Free T4= 1.33

HEIGHT= 170 CMS,

WEIGHT= 91 KG..

MEDICINES = Morning ( Janumet + Amaryl 2 mg) , Evening ( same as morning + ACTOS).

Now questions.

I want to reduce medicines as part of my over all goal. what is right strategy for reducing medicines ? for last one week I reduced night medicine of 1 amaryl and 1 actos. My day readings have increased little bit by FBS have gone up by almost 30 points ( in the range of 150). Reason for choosing these 2 medicine for reduction is that, after some study i found that, both contribute towards weight gain as well as water resistant. OR at the least it will create obstruction towards weight loss.

Some bloggers have managed to reduce there medicines by great deal. I need their practical advice.

Should I add some desi ( Ramdev or similar) medicines while I am reducing these meds?

Can specific timing or sequence of taking medicines be different to help me.

I have taken approach towards partial and gradual reduction of medicine. Is that right method?

If we have to choose between HBA1C of 6 with plenty of medicines against HBA1C of 6.5 without any or minimum medicine, which one is better for over all long term health?

Note: I am looking for practical advice from experienced and successful people, who has managed to do this. I am fully convinced on LCHF and will follow it for long time. This post is for next level of improvement towards reduced medicines.
