go Raw. replace food intake with raw veggies and fruits. check the glycemic index as many fruits are high in sugar which can be avoided. drink vegetable juices. try ayurvedic approach by researching online.
You have not posted anything about your sugar control. And if you are not feeling energetic enough to walk for 30 to 40 minutes daily, you should treat it as unacceptable. If the problem is with your diet, fine tune it so that you have sufficient energy and also have good sugar control. At the end of the day,you have to find a solution by yourself but feeling low in energy is not healthy.
In fact, I ended up in FOOD POISONING due to UNCLEAN vegetables in India.
It took me ONE week Antibiotics to overcome the sickness.
I have seen
(a) Vendors walk over the vegetables
(b) Lot of flies sit on them.
(c) Vendors are located in placed adjacent to drains etc
(d) I heard that lot of chemicals are used (more so on the grapes)
We need to be careful.
We use hot water with salt and also Turmeric power to clean any vegetables.
From my experience, if I may add
Also, the food items being given in temples (Prasad) ...............horrible.
They are really not hygene at all......there may be exceptions.
They hardly maintain the big vessels being used etc.
I am not casting an impression nor trying to hurt any ones feelings.
This is only my humble observation from experience.
Being a diabetic, we need to be very careful.
I am 65 years+ and brisk walk for two hours in the mourning@app.6 kms/hour,30 minutes in the evening, feels energetic whole of the day. Even can walk up to 3 hours without break, even in the hilly terrain. Thanks
LW 2gm/Kg of body weight is for A DAY (2 meals) and 1 gm/kg of body weight is for 1 meal Thank you for pointing out the missing information. (This is the reason for me being detailed, earlier.) Brief statements give room for skeptics to speculate, confuse & misguide.
