Taking medicines under 2 different systems may prove fatal. There is lot of research due in any system. The time may not come to cross research under different systems. Kindly remember every research papers conclude with exceptions. For every ailment - the starting point is mind set (myth). I have noticed vedas, bible, quran has also listed remedies for every sort of element. Thereafter different kinds of food items and lastly medicines under different systems - Ayurveda, Unani, Homeopathy, Allopaty and even certain tribal systems. I remember a discussion with a Doctor why doctors across the country do not prescribe medicines as per Television advertisements. The answer I got is the patient may lose faith on the ability and the medicinal effect is not achieved..

It is generally believed that homoeopathy and allopathy work differently and do not "cross " each other's path. But it would be better to take confirmation from your doctor.
