Please talk with your doctor about the changes you may or may not want to do before doing anything. This is to be on the safe side of things.

After food (after 3 hours) as per accucheck it's between 142-145 today. In early morning before food, it was below 100.

As accucheck hardly gives same result. 50 strips, I used it around 15 days.

So, Ill try to go lab tomorrow with this accucheck to know its telling right or not.

That's pretty good. Did you eat the same food as you did a few days ago?

That souds like a good idea to take the monitor with you for the lab, but if you're going for the A1c, it may not show the same picture since A1c testing is for about 3-4 month checking-- not one day only.

Positively you have take medicines. Please contact your Doctor.

Diabetes can be controlled/managed by a proper regulated diet and exercise. and medicines prescribed by the doctor.

1. Eat every Four hours mini meals. Don't eat big meals. Take more green vegetables/salads.

2. Eat whole grain food/grains like ragi, wheat, jowar instead of refined grains like maida/ sooji/ white bread etc..

3. Reduce foods with high GI Index like potato, white rice, banana, mango.

4. Avoid all forms of simple sugars like colas, juices, sweets, cakes, biscuits, pizzas, noodles etc..

5. Eat daily fruits with low/medium GI index like apple, guava, mosambi, orange.

6. Eat lot of proteins like dals, sprouts, egg, chicken etc. with every minimeal.

7. Drink lot of water. One glass every hour.

8. Do at least 30-45 mins. of exercise every day.

I feel, without taking medicine, it can be controlled right now or even reverse. Dont know though. With Gods grace I may.

I feel, medicine will make the matter worse and worse, more and more meds and land in insulin.

Im very ignorant about diabetic though. Pls, your input is appreciated
