people get panic when they come to know that they are diabetic and without proper information and knowledge they make mistakes in dealing with BS management. It would be a great help for them if you share your experience which might be very use full for some one, who really need to know it.

humungous narratives,m explanations, good blogging by many experts and patients alike; browse all previous as also other intl. web sites/links; interact with diabetics as well as Doctors, assimilate as much info as you can and all the best to you,

As a long standing diabetic,I offer the following general suggestions which you may consider and adapt in a manner that suits you.

Diabetes is a metabolic disorder which is a result of the pancreatic gland in our body either produces little or no insulin or the body has developed resistance to insulin. In both cases, the body cells do not receive the glucose needed for production of energy because insulin is essential for glucose to enter the cells. This results in the blood sugar levels to increase beyond acceptable levels, though your body cells are starved for glucose. This condition is very bad for our well being and over long term may result in severe complications.

Controlling blood sugar levels is a tough job but it is not impossible if you realize that every thing is in your own hands. This is so,because though you may get good advise from doctors and dieticians,it is ultimately Y O U that will have to take all the necessary steps to successfully control diabetes.I am giving certain general suggestions based on my personal experience which you may consider and adopt based on your personal choice.

Diet plays a very important role in managing diabetes. You should reduce intake of foods that are rich in carbohydrates like sweets, rice, wheat, other grains ,potato, beet and other root vegetables rich in starch. You should eat more of vegetables, sprouts, greens and salads that give you lot of fiber, vitamins and minerals. Each meal you take should be smaller but you may have 5 or 6 meals instead 3 meals a day.

Exercise is very important to control diabetes. Daily brisk walking or jogging for at least 40 to 60 minutes is ideal. Such exercise will consume lots of energy and sugar levels come down accordingly.

Mental stress aggravates diabetes. Lead a stress free life by adopting relaxation techniques like music meditation, yoga and breathing exercises.

Consult a diabetologist and get prescribed for medication if necessary and comply with the doctor's advise scrupulously.

Please remember that the most important person in managing your diabetes is Y O U.

Kindly explain when one walks and consumes energy and thereby the sugar level,. Then where from one gets energy to do other work, other than walking briskly. May b I hv not understood it completely. Thanks

Think of a situation when all the body cells are loaded with sugar and the blood stream is also loaded with high sugar.Unless you exercise and evacuate the sugar from your cells the blood sugar will not enter the body cells and bring it's own sugar level down.Unless this happens the fresh food you eat cannot be assimilated. So,it is a cyclical process which gets stuck when some one is sedentary leading to build up of sugar level. To break the jam and keep the cycle moving, exercise helps. You know what our ancient surgeon Sushruta recommended for diabetes? Either breaking stones or digging a well, both back breaking jobs.So please appreciate the value of exercise in diabetes management. My personal experience is,if your exercise is optimum, you get energized and not weak. Please try and work out a solution.

I am Diabetic aged 61. I had 282 PPS when I started to take Fresh Tinospora Cordifolia extract (Gudichhi Stem {(Sanskrit), Chittamrut (Malayalam)}, two times a day and controled my rice intake I got tremendous result. I gave this medicine to one old lady who had had high sugar + colastrol. After 10 days she got rid of her excess colastrole. And sugar got reduced. Yet another young lady got her sugar normal. Just take one time red-rice boiled, other time green moong (split) + rice Kanji, lots of vegetable and green leaf (Moringa leaf once in a week).

If not convinced by my experience please search "Wonderful cure for diabetics" in Youtube/Google. Also search for Tinospora Cordifolia in google for more scientific research information.

This extract is one of the best Antioxidant which cures Acidity, Bowel chockup, Acidity even AIDS and Cancer, and improves the immune system. This is not business talks. There is no business in this. Please collect tinospora from your own compound or nearby compound. facebook.com/pages/Lookatme... is the link for this in facebook, if you want all the links and photos. Get well and spread the news to your friends and relatives who suffer from diabetics. This is a wonderful medicine without dangerous side effects.

Atleast search for "TINOSPORA CORDIFOLIA EXTRACT" in Google.

Thanks

I mean your best medicine in your compound or own serroundings
