Hi after azaoprine caused liver cirrhosis, my consultant said I should start Adalimumab . I have had lots of various bloods taken including TB, HIV. Is this normal? 😳

Yes, that's the normal routine before starting a biologic treatment. They may also give you injections for hepatitis, pneumonia, tetanus, polio - all sorts of things!

My daughter was put on infliximab which is a similar biologic for Crohns. She had to have a TB blood test. We wish she had been given more blood tests tbh as she developed seborrheic dermatitis and had to stopped using. This is very rare but a simple blood test could have picked this up. She now uses Stelara injections which seem ok. Take every test going.
