I have been suffering from peptic ulcer for a long time. I underwent endoscopy and colonoscopy 4 months ago and on endoscopy I was diagnosed with ulcer and hernia. The colonoscopy report was normal. I am continuing ulcer medicine. But for a while, a pinch of pain was felt on or near the side of my navel, sometimes it happens, but not for a while. For the last two days there has been mild pain in the abdomen or on the side which goes up to the rectum. But blood does not go with my stool
And my ulcer problem lasted for about 10 months. And in that I lost no weight but gained 4 kg Now my fear is is it an IBD related problem?
It doesn't sound like IBD. Yes, there are ulcers with ulcerative colitis but you say your ulcer was a peptic ulcer which isn't the same as ulcers in colitis.
