I've been putting off signing up for Race for Life this year. Couldn't make up my mind which one to do and some of the dates didn't work for me. However, seeing the blogs on this site and the comments over the last week about the marathons, I finally was shamed into putting my name down for the 10k at Holyrood Park in Edinburgh. I've done the RfL there at 5k 4 or 5 times and the Great Winter Run and last year I did the 5k at South Queensferry so I felt I really needed a challenge. It's the morning after we will be at my son's 6th year summer ball which isn't ideal but never mind.
I haven't found a B25k I like the look of yet. I'm just going to keep on with 5x50 and gradually build up distance and see how it goes. Will keep blogging.

Well done - I've entered Race for Life along Worthing Seafront this year - first time ever! I never dreamed I could do anything like that, but have just done W6r2 this morning so am fairly confident that I will finish without embarrassment!
Well done for signing up! Let us know how the training goes. It seems many people don't like the B210K plans, so just gradually increasing your distance may be the way to go.
