Just signed up for my first 5k!

Not sure if I'm brave or stupid! Just finished W5 and thought I'd sign myself up for a 5k in October to give me the incentive to keep going and finish the programme and continue beyond graduation. Not sure what I was thinking, maybe a moment of madness but I've given myself plenty of time to get up to 5k and entry was free. I do love a bargain!

  • Goals are good! Something to aim for, me, I've signed up for a 10k in September ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ

  • That sounds a grand plan, enjoy the journey!

  • If it's free that's fab! Hopefully you will be fine for that - just stay injury free as taking a few months off running does slow progress! I graduated in August and Dis my first 5k race last. Weekend and loved it. Enjoy!

  • Goals are good incentive to keep going. Moments of madness are also good btw

  • Good idea to give you a goal to aim for. You'll be looking for more after that :)
