Well R2 went surprisingly well. I had quite a difficult R1 so I wasn't looking forward to it, but it was good. I have slowed down but that is I think because I'm exercising everyday now. I don't care if it's slow just as long as I do it
I usually run Tues, Thurs and Sat and then swim Mon, Wed and Fri. Then on Sunday we go for a long walk with our walking club. Until today everything went fine, but then due to work and commute and social life I could only manange 2 km walk today So Saturday is R3 and Sunday is an 18 km walk.....that should make up for it.
I have to admit that a day off has felt quite good. My legs feel fine and no back problems which I was starting to get. So from tomorrow onwards and upwards with the challenge AND next week is graduation week I can't believe it is nearly here. What a difference 9 weeks make

WHOO-HOO!!! Enjoy this Grad week to the fullest! 18K walk???? YOU GO GIRL!!!! You are doing fantastic, keep it up and nice having you as a fellow 5x50 teammate! Gayle
Thanks Gayle.....having you all on this forum also helps with motivation and inspiration when it doesn't go so well. Love being part of the team. Have a good weekend.
That is a long walk you have planned there! Hope the weather is kind to you. You are doing so well to be doing the 5x50 challenge as well as the end of c25k - I have great admiration for you!
Tomorrow here in Belgium it will be 20°c and sunny. It's thanks to some sound advice you gave me a few weeks ago that I'm able to do both together. It was about W6 and I thought I would jump a few weeks straight to W9......you told me to take it steady and think about it. It was great advice Now I'm going into graduation week with no injuries and I'm still enjoying it I love reading your blogs and advice
Thank you Juicyju. My day of rest really helped and I did my last run of W8 this morning and it was great. I will consider taking a little rest maybe every 10 days and do some arm work or yoga. All the people on here and doing the challenge are soo inspirational. I love being part of this community. Have a great weekend
What amazing stamina you have! Looking forward to hearing about your graduation Well done on having such a strong sense of organisation to get the 30 mins or 5 k covered every day.
It does take lots of organisation, but up to now it's going ok (except for yesterday!!). I have quite a flexible job so that helps, but I have to put it on the family calender so that it is a fix and nothing can get in the way I'm looking forward to my last week on the course, and then getting my badge....yipee
