Week 1 down!

Hi all, I'm on the way now! Week 1 done and dusted and just downloaded the rest of the weeks as I am going to stick to this. I did notice that the week 1 podcast is very very popular and then the rest of the weeks are not so popular. I felt proud that I wanted to download the rest of the C25 regime. It has taken me longer to do week 1 as the weather interupted my progress but the sun is out again. I'll pop in tomorrow and let you know how I get on. Anyone else starting Week 2 tomorrow? Thanks for those who gave me some support on my first blog last week, that was lovely! x

Great news, congratulations! Onwards and upwards. There is no problem with taking a bit longer than a week for each section - bad weather, illness, work and family problems etc have meant that several people have lengthened the programme to suit them. Keep blogging as you're jogging and the forum will be there for you every step of the way. Good luck. Linda :)

I'll log in to see what you thought of W2 R1 :) ( I've even got the running terms under my belt now ha!) Me and my sister will be doing the same as you tomorrow. Good luck, and thanks for the support :)

Hi listilly 2013, well I did week 2 run 1 and it hurt a little but I'm still alive! Feeling pleased as punch with myself - anyone would think I'd won a marathon! How did you get on?

Hi, I'm at week 9 and although not actually had to repeat a week, there have been hiccups. About 3 or 4 runs have just felt wrong for various reasons, eg sore calf, bad breathing, heat in cyprus etc, but I have found if I leave the occasional 3 or 4 day gap between runs, they seem to flow better. It's what 'feels' right in my limited experience...You'll get there!!!

Jealous of the heat in Cyprus bit I have to say! I did get out for week 2 run 1 today so it's still happening! Thanks for your blog, it's so nice that people take the time to help us beginners!

very well done you for downloading the rest of the podcasts and having the positive attitude to know that you can do this :-)

things do get in the way, but dont leave it too long for your next run as your fitness can drop and you dont want to lose all the brill progress youve made!

keep us all updated as to how youre getting on.

ali :-)

Hi Auntie Ali, thank you for blogging. It's a great help when fellow runners give those starting a morale boost. Week 2 started today and it did hurt but it was never going to be a walk in the park!
