2 mile fun run done.

I am up to week 8, run one done, and have just done a fun run of 2 miles with my 2 teenage daughters. It was really good fun, though we set off so slowly, not having Laura's 5 minute warm up, that the organisers asked if we were in the race, or warming up for the next race of 10k!

I though it might qualify as run 2 of week 8, but it took us 23 minutes, even though it seemed totally exhausting. And how did everyone else manage to run it so fast? Still we are all very proud of ourselves. I told my daughters that it is much more impressive do do something that we are not good at than something easy.

Very well done and I think you could still count it as W8R2! Lovely too running with your daughters :)

Very wise mum advice there! :) Good for you all for entering a race and not allowing yourselves to be put off by others that have probably done it before. You'll be a super-fit family in no time!
