A good friend wanted to start C25K, so I've said I'll do one of the runs a week with her.

I started with my long steep hill walk, 5 minutes faster than the other day! Then off we went. We kept it really slow, in the jogging sections, and chatted throughout. It was really interesting for me to see how it felt now. It was loads easier, obviously, but I still felt the muscles in my calves even after all this time! It was rather lovely to do an easy one lol, though

I don't know how much it will have done for my fitness, but still better than doing nothing and it was fun to run witha friend.

Next run will be back to longer, harder, but I'm looking forward to doing the first W2 run with my pal next week!

Happy running all...

What a great thing to do with your friend !

That's fantastic , I'm sure she will appreciate the support from someone who's been there done it and got the t-shirt 😬

I really enjoyed it! And whilst it wasn't challenging, it's still doing something.

What a fabulous idea! I’m sure you’ll continue to enjoy it, and what a great support for your friend 😀

I loved it...the company and the way it showed me how far I've come.

How lovely. You, of course, are now your friend's experienced running expert. Sounds relaxed. The only time I've run with anyone other than my daughter, it was a work colleague and he runs marathons! That was a bit challenging!

It was fab. I paced it really slowly ...she's a competitive person so would have gone too fast. I think having company makes it easier.

Now to see if she keeps going for the next two on her own...I've suggested she joins this site for support and better advice than I can give!
