Bloody periods!!!!

I'm in the middle of week 3 of c25k at the moment. Been going great and really loving it. Problem is I suffer from painful and heavy periods.

I was meant to go out running yesterday - but opted for a brisk walk instead as I really didn't feel very well. Just as well - because the pain towards the end was unbearable despite taking pain killers and I felt so sick.

So went out today no pain which I am thankful of but oh gee was it hard hard work. My legs felt like they were dead and heavy. Did a couple of runs with the Run Zombie app but had to keep stopping - no energy whatsoever.

But at least I went out - roll on next week when I will be back to running like a gazelle (not) ;-)

Thanks nannyp - my mum carried on having hers till she was almost 60 - so quite possibly I still have almost 20 years of them :-(

Hope you get your stamina back soon :-)

You poor girl, I've been there, had all that, thankfully now passed it all. If you can exercise on the painful days its supposed to be good for you (gentle exercise that is). Also I found Evening Primrose helped for a while, then my body got used to it and it stopped doing me any good!! What we women have to put up with eh! Take care.

hot water bottle, chocolate, sofa and preferably someone like hugh jackman/brad pitt/george clooney(delete as appropriate) on tv is what you need, not running :)
