It's a funny old game / world / body...

Went out dressed for a run but thinking I'd probably walk as what I thought was a mild bug felt like it might turn into a heavy cold, my back (aggravated an old injury recently) felt wobbly, I'd forgotten to drink any water and and and. Thought I'd just give running a little go after walking for 8 or so minutes and ran for 30 minutes... it felt really easy and my back now feels strong (for me) and fluid. What a win.

Happy running peeps.

Well done poppy, that sounds like a lovely run. I bet its helped your mild bug as well as your back too.

Isn't that just how it goes though? Another day you can be raring to go and it all falls apart for no apparent reason.

Indeed! It was a lesson well learnt and I'm still feeling the benefits. I think it helped that before I started I gave myself permission to stop when I needed to.

Yes, funny how what is thought is going to be a bad run turns out to be one of the best!😊

It's the intermittent reward that keeps me coming back. Same process in gambling!

That's one of the things that this programme teaches us, isn't it? We don't 'fail' so its always worth giving it a try.
