Thought I'd change my usual up+down route for my run last night. Wish I hadn't, as the new one was virtually all uphill. Boy, did my legs feel it. Thought I could cope with hills by now... Stupid me! :-P Still, I didn't stop during the two 10 minute runs, even though I could have walked faster.

Got home, a hot bath, some hot soup and then bed...

Well done for keeping going! It's definitely worth facing up to the hills if for no other reason than that they make the level runs feel sooo much easier! ;)

Hope the legs are feeling ok today...

Thanks. Off to the swimming-pool soon and then some strength&flex tonight after works. That should do it. Legs feel OK, anyway: probably due to nodding off in the bath last night!

I do so hope what you say (level runs easier) is true... Here it's all hilly: I'll plan a run further afield soon to find out. :D
