Park run

Does anyone else do the parkrun at Braunstone? I am planning to do it this saturday but why is it so early at 9am? I will have to catch a bus at 7.47 from Hinckley in time to be there for the warm up (I dont drive)

However despite this early start I am looking forward to it and even if I have to run a bit I know I can run two miles outside now.

I think one of the main reasons that they are early is so that the volunteers / race directors so get most of the weekend. It's a great way to start a Saturday

I wondered whether it was also so it can be at the same time right through the year, without being too hot in the summer. (I think it's 9.30 in Scotland - but that probably doesn't help much!)
