Good luck to you for your first parkrun this morning, which one is it?

You only graduated recently and already going to run your first 5k Parkrun unlike me who after almost a year after graduating have now just registered for Parkrun, I hope to run my first parkrun sometime in July.

Hi AlMorr, I actually ran it last week when I was on Wk8! Ran 5k in 43mins, was chuffed with that. I’m going to camperdown in Dundee πŸ˜† you should just go for it, it’s ok to walk for some bits (such as big hills πŸ™ˆ) x

I am sure you will get a PB this morning, not the best of weather, the main thing is to enjoy the πŸƒ run, πŸ‘

Wow what a morning! I loved the Park Run! I got a PB! It knocked 7 minutes off my W9R3, I was totally amazed. I’m looking forward to going back next week x

I’m away on Holiday with my Family since yesterday. I am missing my Parkrun so got up early this morning and ran a lovely 6K down along a beautiful coastal stretch in Spain. My family are still asleep the lazy gits.

I’m off to Southend park run. My 20th. Even in wind and rain it’s a wonderful start to the weekend. Have fun every one. πŸƒπŸ»β€β™€οΈπŸƒπŸ»β€β™€οΈπŸ˜Š

It certainly is addictive and well done on doing it I’m planning on doing one next Saturday as I’m going to graduate tomorrow. A silly question how do you know we’re to go is it cordoned off or are there officials telling you we’re to go as you run as if I’m last I don’t want to look an idiot for not knowing we’re to run πŸ˜‰πŸƒπŸ»β€β™‚οΈπŸ

There will most likely be marshalls all around and cones, posts or tapes to help you at junctions in the paths or whatever.

And you won’t be last because there is always a tail walker whose job is to do just that. And the course markers cannot be cleared and the Marshall’s cannot leave until the tail walker has gone past. Don’t worry you will be fine.

At my first one I was so nervous I arrived too early and had no idea where to go because I got there before anyone else was there to set it all up! So recommend don’t get there too much before 8.40.....

Camperdown is one of the more challenging parkruns in Scotland. I ran it recently specifically to practise on the long uphill stretch prior to the EMF5K but normally I go to Montrose. Lovely and flat πŸ˜€
