Hi Givman, Yes myself and son both got PB's so very happy sons 29:58 knocked 90secs off and mine 38:10 knocked 95secs off so can't be bad. but yes very damp and miserable , luckily it was a coffee/tea morning to warm us up afterwards.
Catherine
hi Catherine
well done to you both...which park run do you do?
Mines the Hull one
Graham
3 of us did newbie first parkruns in the c25k+ section! All pretty muddy and wet, but all very happy!
excellent well done..did you enjoy??
Oh, most definitely yes! Even though it was very slippery in the mud, it was drizzling and the tail runner was walking behind me for 20 minutes!
brill well done you!!
Will you be there next week?
Quite possibly - I'll see how I feel - 45 minutes is still quite a long time for me to be running, so if I'm really tired this week, it might be wiser to wait a bit longer. But I'd like to, as it's the 100th run here, and they course is going to be in the reverse direction, so it would be a pity to miss it!
I'm only 95 runs behind you now!
I hope the cuppa warmed you up Graham! Great job in getting out there in the cold. Only a few more to that 100 mark!!! Gayle
it did Gayle it did!! yes It was cold and damp but thats number 96 done...four more to go!!
How are you and Steve??
Gra
We're doing great Graham! Thanks for asking! Steve has been running some 10K's and I am sticking to 8K's/5miles for now. I took up running at 49.5 years old, so don't want to push this old body too hard! I already feel near death on a few runs! I do want to be at 10K by my 50th, the first week in May.
