Horrible morning..W7 R2

I had a horrid run !...Throughout this program I have never stopped..this morning I stopped THREE times for about 30 seconds..just couldn't get into it physically or mentally. I so disappointed in myself. I was looking so forward to it as I had such a rough day, as my mam got refused on a bus because she forgot her bus pass. She has Vascular Dementia..the main reason I'm doing this is to do a run for her...anyway she got lost in that heat in the middle of a park. I wanted to run it out my system but unfortunately I just couldn't do it. Not good. Sorry for the moan..but just needed to get it out somewhere 😥😔😡

I hope your mum is ok that must have been so scary for you both. And dont worry one bad run doesn’t undo all the good runs!! It doesn’t undo a single good run. And you still got out for a run - you could have chosen to sit at home and do nothing.

You will get to the run you are doing for your mum. And you will smash it!! ☺️

I think we all have bad and frustrating runs sometimes - though stopping for 30 seconds doesn’t sound too bad to me and you still did it! 👏 keep at it!!

Stopping for 3x 30 seconds isnt terrible / won't undo all your hard work, but I am sorry - so frustrating! The exact same thing happened to me. Niether my body or my brain were interested, and my usual "tricks" didn't work. Turned out just to be a bad run (I consoled myself with crisps...). I had to work a little harder at the next one - made sure I was hyrdrated and eating "well" the day before my run (I run first thing) and kept telling myself/imgagining contintuing without stopping. Now back on track. It will even better when you complete your next run. Sounds like a tough day. Don't forget- There's always crisps ;-) (also - what a great cause to be running for.)

Thank you so much...weirdly enough I looked at my long hot weekend ...big to much gins were consumed if I'm being honest..😆. So I had the idea that Sunday was 31st...yesterday was 1st..no gins...school night...so I've decided to do an impromptu "Dry June" just to see if it makes any difference to my overall wellbeing as well as my running..thanks for getting back⭐

Stay strong Jinky88, you’ve done great so far, you’ll definitely bounce back, you’ve got this 👍

I know...just set me off on the wrong footing for the day...but getting on here and getting it off my chest has refocused me. Big Thanks⭐
