I completed week 4 run 1 last night. Surprising myself that it didn't seem too bad. But today my ankles are really aching. Does anyone else suffer with that? I'm worried I won't feel up to running again tomorrow, that would be a disaster as I am TOTALLY hooked already!

Aching ankles!

Good to know you're hooked. It's weird isn't it?!
Hot baths? How are your running shoes - are they cushioning your feet ok?
If it helps I find everything aches however a few minutes into the next run it all fades away

I hear ya Bittybit about the ankles!!
im sitting here and they are throb, throb, throbbing from last nights run still!! my legs were like concrete when I started off but surprisingly when I got started, they kinda sorted themselves out (but I did have to dig deep).
i have bouncy trainers so Im looking at stretches as per our fellow runners advice and also looking at running technique.
i hope the ankles get better soon, i hope it doesnt stop you from getting back out for the next run.

Thanks all.
Luckily my ankles seem to have completely recovered now. Will see how I go after my next run. Bought a support for one ankle that I had an operation on years ago, so hope that helps.
Will also try stretching after running, instead of collapsing on the sofa!
I'm determined to finish, especially now I know you can get a c25k t shirt!

Do have a look at running form too - sometimes just making your steps a bit shorter (so you land more directly below your bodyweight, rather than stretched out in front) can help.
Lots of information around on this is you do some searches.
