Just back from starting week 3 and i'm constantly amazed that i can do this every week. Never ran but built up the stamina for this with spin and circuits classes. Does anyone else have sore ankles for the first run? The pain eventually goes so i'm assuming it's a warmup thing.

Aching ankles
Everyone gets pains and aches when they start a new exercise regime and for most they disappear after the first few weeks.
Slowing down, avoiding heelstrike, keeping footfall under your body, running on grass and wearing proper running shoes fitted after agait analysis done at a specialist running shop can all help, as laid out in the guide to the plan healthunlocked.com/couchto5...
I did W2 R3 last night and my left ankle is really sore today. The back of it! Hope it doesn't affect my next run. I run on park tarmac paths so might try the softer track next run
Nat26 I use an all weather pitch. It's soft and never muddy. Mind you I'll probably have trouble moving to pavements
And now in week 6 and ankles are fine. Believe in the power of exercise to strengthen!
