I am due to run w7r2 tomorrow but my ankles are a bit painful today. I am desperate to give it a shot but worry I might make it worse. That said, it might resolve itself by the morning...
Any thoughts?

Set off slower than usual... test the ankles and ease them into it. Any stabbing pains and stop. Feet falling flat will help if you don’t already do that, and focusing on the footfall will distract you from time too. You know you can do the run... just don’t risk injury by ignoring sharp pain. The next run will still be there in a couple of days if you need to stop.

Try these
Also.. relax into your runs.. try to land lightly... I call it kissing the ground with your feet... and start slow.. stay slow. Let the legs find their happy pace
Take it slow - see how it goes.
If you have pain just take another couple of days rest. My ankles used to sometimes feel as if they were made of bone china which was really weird - luckily they didn't shatter!!Must have been a bit of tendonitis.
