Hi there, just discovered these blogs after reaching week 5.
I have had acute Tendonopathy in both Achilles for a few years.2 years ago I finally managed to rupture one! After a long recovery and much weight gain ,I decided to take control and downloaded the podcasts for 5k .
The actual fitness is not an issue....yet (I am sure it will be when I attempt week 5 run 3!!) I am very cautious with my calf muscles as they are quite stiff.
Today I am about to run week 5 run 1, Feeling a little worried about the last run so am thinking I may repeat the first 2 runs a few times before moving on? or should I just trust the programme?
