The trouble with procrastinating...

Just about to go out for a timed 5k, aiming for a PB. Whilst waiting for my breakfast to settle, stuck last night's '24 Hours in A&E' on.

First patient - a guy who's collapsed, after running a 5k! Mind you, he did manage to run it in 17.07, around half of my current PB

Oops - let that be a lesson to you! (Not to turn the TV on, I mean, not to stop running! ;) )

Lol.....perhaps he was being chased! Did you get your pb or think better of it?

I did :)

32:21, which knocked nearly four minutes off my best time, since starting the course again and 90 seconds or so off last year's 'best ever'

Mind you, I've no idea where I'm meant to find the extra few minutes to get it under 30 minutes - maybe if I ever manage to find a flat course

Wooooow.....take a bow that's bloody awesome. As for those extra mins, check ur pocket....you never know ;)

We are lucky, where we live is flat, the park run and 10k event routes are flat and the cardiff half is flat lol. If I ever come across a hill whilst running I will turn around post haste!

Ah, maybe I need to move house then. No park runs around this area, but the local half (Chester) is known as one of the flattest in the UK, so it's not all bad :)
