Just thought I'd let you all know that I'm still here, reading everyone's blogs even if I'm not commenting on them. The hideous cough of doom is still with me so I've yet to start back again. I'm giving it until tuesday then going to pay a visit to the Doctor to see if I can do any more than I already am to get rid of it. Then I get to start the program all over again and hope that I can still get to running 5K by the race for life. If not, I'll just have to do intervals of running and walking but I'd like to be able to run most of it.

Yep, 2 weeks thereabouts I think. It doesn't feel like a chest infection, just a tickly/irritating cough that's decided to stick around. I'm going to try and get into the Doctors for thursday anyway to see what they think. Fingers crossed they'll be able to suggest something to get rid of it.
Really sorry about this!! Hope you feel better soon!! It's so tough when you've found the motivation and taken the massive step of starting, and then been forced to stop again.
Remember - even if you do have to do intervals int he RFL, you'll still be doing a lot more running than you would have done with no training at all xx
