A whole week gone in my 5x 50 part one challenge. (Yes, somewhere along the line I have decided to do this twice, amounting to 100 days).
So far has been a mixture of run one day and walk the next so, to mix it up a little, today I did 5k on the ergometer which has been sitting, unloved, in an outhouse.
It was very cold so I wore a hat and gloves, but soon got into the stride and managed 5k in 31 minutes. My husband (an ex-rower) showed me the correct technique. The exercise felt solid and was a blessed relief for my feet; I definitely enjoyed the no-impact side of it, but my shoulders ached the most.
I'll report back next week. I have zumba in mind too. Oh heavens.
