Wobbly bits wobbled.

As it was hot hot hot I decided to root out some cooler gym gear. Unfortunately I have put on a few pound round the tummy since I last wore them and they were not quite so comfortable.

My inner ego, Enid, suggested we leave our running until it was cooler or preferably until we lost a few pounds.Β  Hmmm not sure about that one.πŸ™„

Having already left longer gaps between my running days due to a dodgy knee, (noted that a few runners at a similar stage mentioned the same ailment), I was determined to push on.

Enid was not a happy bunny but I was!

I have decided to treat myself to a new outfit at the end of week 5 as I remember that was quite an achievement.

So Week 4 run 1 done...wobbly bits wobbled.

Awesome, mind you I could be with Enid and wait til I’ve lost a few pounds, that’s great, let those wobbly bits wobble away

Thanks, WillowandSola...we might have needed to wait a while. 😘

I love your illustrations. Your posts always make me smile! Well done for today’s run. It’s extra hard at the moment in the heat.

Running kit is a great reward to go for. I absolutely love getting a new pair of leggings. I find a nice supportive pair helps with any wobbly bits! Are you going to be doing any browsing in anticipation of hitting that reward?

Yes. Thank you for support...and good plan. Maybe put some items in the basket but will pledge not to check out until I have completed the week 5 runs. The weather will probably have changed then but hey ho. 😜

They sure do! I was astonished when I donned Lycra for the first time. I got Nike Filament ones from the sale πŸ₯°

Mine are almost all Sweaty Betty Powers from the sale! Whenever I wear other pairs that aren’t as good around the middle, I notice my tum jiggling as I run!! I’m sure nobody else is looking (I almost always run rurally so it’s only sheep and cows anyway!) but definitely not as comfy.

A great image...they sound really good. I can see I am going to have to do my research.

I love a waist cord and ankle zips on my run tights. My faves are Ron Hill and Nike. Decathlon are ok too but run small

Plenty of sale ones. I only ever buy sales stuff πŸ™‚

Thank you for the tips. I was going to have a look at Decathlon. At the moment I am in Marks and Spencer...and something bought from Amazon so not very cool. I would like to try something a bit more up market as a treat.

πŸ‘Thanks for for help and support.

Well done for ignoring Enid, she’s a right gremlin. Just remember, we’re all wobbling together.

🀣 Best title ever! It got me thinking about the function of wobbly bits...I'd never considered it before...of course a wobbly bit should wobble. I am satisfied my wobbly bits are also in working order. πŸ˜†

I will try my best, my friend. Unfortunately I think they came with rather unhealthy biscuits so I don't think you want them. πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ€ΈπŸ»β€β™€οΈ

Thank you, Jell6. Now I have given Enid quite a list of names and designs. I can see she is going to be on that laptop for quite a while. πŸ˜…Thank you for your support. It is appreciated.
