Aw feel better. I've had 2 weeks off with flu. Trying to psych myself back up to go out tonight. Being ill sucks.

2 weeks! I'm taking it one day at a time and hoping that this doesn't last for 2 weeks. It's amazing how addicted I am to running. My daughter went out yesterday without me - I really wasn't too pleased about this.

I hope that you psyched yourself up to go out tonight.

Bummer, mojo. Hope you are well in a flash! Reading any running magazines or books to pass the time?

Hi Genone (great name by the way). I've spent most of my sick bed time watching telly. The book I'm reading at the moment is the time travellers wife. It's a great book which I do recommend. The main character is a runner but it's not actually about running.

I hope to be well enough to do a run tomorrow - fingers crossed.

Hi there.

You lot don't know me but I graduated last summer and then following a long saga of boring injuries restarted the program. Now on week seven only to be struck down with flu and chest infection! Haven't run since ,sat Monday and thought was getting better but woke this morning with another sore throat :(.

Mind, that could be due to all the shouting at the football yesterday!

My team, southampton, beat the premier league champions, man city , 3:1!

So life's not all bad!

Anyway, reading all your blogs has been great

X

You mean there's another Hampshire person here? I thought I was alone! I'm on the sick bench too- three "outages" since Mid December now which mean that as soon as the pesky cough clears up (again) I'll be on my 3rd "comeback" of the year. ALl we can do is be patient and pray for spring!

GO SAINTS - YOU CAN STAY UP REALLY!!!!!

Hi Ann

I suffered a mild cold when I was doing the couch to 5k. I made the decision to keep on running through that. I also suffered with a bad back which didn't stop me either. But this bug has been awful so I haven't risked running (I can barely walk to be honest). I am feeling better today and so I hope to go out tomorrow.

I hope that you feel better soon.

I'm a Birmingham City fan by the way (don't tell anyone).

Happy running!

Ha! I'm sorry to read that you're not well either. I'm feeling a lot better again today. I'm still on the couch (haha) watching the telly today. Fingers crossed I'll be able to run tomorrow.

It was a great win for Southampton yesterday. I hope they continue to do well. I don't like seeing one or two teams dominating the leagues.

Anyway, get better soon. Happy Running!

Thank you. I'm so upset about this because I was doing so well. I've had to watch my daughter go running without me. WE have a 10K run booked in march :-(. I'm thinking of going to the doctors today.
