What do you do? Run anyway, just go slower or not bother at all? Thursday is my final run of the plan and I've caught my boyfriend's stinking cold - I feel so disappointed

When you get ill..
If you feel rotten I'd wait till you get better. I got my sister's cold this week, and have just been out for a couple of gentle rides on my bike as I thought I would chuck up if I had to run! Graduation will wait for you, and we'll all be here to cheer!
But I need to do the 3 runs in the week don't i? The problem I have is when I get a cold they're here for about 3 weeks
You don't HAVE to do three runs a week - it's just a guide. Do it when you feel better and you will have still graduated. And it'll be much nicer if you don't have to vomit snot all the way round!
Sorry - I lowered the tone there a bit.
I agree. Take a break if you feel really ill. If you don't you could exacerbate the symptoms of your cold and may be more likely to get injured! You really won't lose much fitness and then pick up where you left off when you feel better (or even drop back a run or two first to test how you feel.) You have to listen to your body with this running business! Hope you feel better soon.
Give it a rest till your better, there's no got to about c25k
Yes as other comments. Don't run with a cold. I had a week off a few weeks back and my first run back was one of my best ever. You don't have to do 3 runs in a week. You just do that run next whenever that may be.
Oh dear, just what you were worried about. Hopefully it will pass fairly quickly - plenty of drinks and don't run unless you feel ready, you are so close now it's very frustrating but your fitness doesn't go away so fast, and a run after you are properly recovered might be much better!
Everyone is right, don't push your body at a time it really doesn't need it. Rest up and then when your ready go and do your final run and I will have your graduations badge ready for you when you post that your ready and have done the final run. Look after yourself.
I agree, wait til you're feeling better. It took me five months to complete the plan because for most of it I could only run twice a week and I had a few holidays, but I got there! Go at your own pace
Its contagious, ive got a house full of patients !
