Anyone had a blank screen on their Garmin 110 Forerunner? Was using it at the gym this morning to monitor my heart beat, was working fine. Plugged it into my laptop then screen went blank. It won't charge or do anything at all, any suggestions please?

Have you looked on Garmin support?
I guess it'll still be under guarantee, you could take it back to the shop. I know how you feel, I hate it when I can't get things to work.
Good luck!
This happened to me recently and I thought it was faulty but in the instruction booklet that came with it it tells you how to get the screen back - press and hold one of the buttons (am not at home so cant check which one exactly but think it was the light) This didnt work for me though but as soon as I opened up Garmin Connect on the pc it came back to life! Maybe try either of these or google it - there are plenty of suggestions online.

happened to me too, got to the point of boxing it up to send it back. gave it one more try, been ok every since. it is the light button, press it and hold it
YOU GUYS AND GIRLS ARE WONDERFUL. Its up and running again, thank you so much.
I had been in touch with Garmin as its still under guarantee and they were going to send me an email to sort it, 3 hours ago, still waiting!!!
I'm very grateful for your quick replies.

by holding that light button you can either put the phone in sleep mode (blank screen) or it brings it back to life. also, watch may need updating. I had to do this. very easy to do. you have to plug it in & download something onto it. garmin support is really good. I bought mine second hand off ebay & they let me re-register it (for updates etc) & they emailed back quite quickly with answers/suggestions when I had problems with mine.
good luck. shelley
err as a further answer (and so that I can find it again) mine died a death and the light button wouldn't work. Dug this link out - it2tp.wordpress.com/2011/12... repeating method 2 twice did the trick
