Six weeks ago, the snow-covered pavements would have been more than enough of an excuse to stay in bed. Six-thirty ths morning, all I want to do is get out there and run. That's week eight done; bring on the final week! And this is my first post on here so a big hello and smile to everyone who reads this.

It's an addiction, right?

It is indeed, welcome to the cult!!
Best of luck for your final run and happy snow running!

Yes you can't believe what's happened to your old self sometimes.
Just had a discussion on whether to do the Parkrun (on but snowy and access road may be problematic) or run in the woods by the house. Husband says he's getting me certified!

Welcome along. My addiction has seen me run in torrential rain and enjoy it. But even though it is driving me mad, I think I will give the snow a miss.

Well done on getting to week 8 and not letting the weather get in your way!

Thank you all for your responses and encouragement. I have to run on my own, as it's usually a 5.30 am thing, so it's great to get some feedback and feel that I'm not alone.

It certainly is an addiction. Well done on your running today. Did a Parkrun this morning and have to say if 4 months ago you had said I would be running in the snow I would have laughed, I'm not sure what has happened to me Good luck with your next run

Yes it is an addiction - but you are not alone.
You have just joined Runners Anonymous. Welcome!
Brilliant to hear the motivation and excitement continues! I started Week 1 yesterday and couldn't believe that my first thoughts were about going out for a run when my youngest woke me at 6am!
Well done on braving the elements!
